New Life, New Possibilities: Welcoming Nala and Our Farm Kitten

There’s something magical about welcoming new life — a quiet reminder that each day is an invitation to grow, love, and believe in fresh beginnings.

This week, we’re overjoyed to introduce the two newest members of our ʻohana here at Hāna Lōkahi Farms: 🐑 Meet Nala – Our Gentle Lamb

Nala arrived with curious eyes and the softest hair you can imagine. She's already found her favorite shady spot beneath the palm and mountain apple trees and has a surprisingly musical baa when she calls to us. We named her Nala.

As she grows, we hope Nala will be part of our pasture rotation, help with gentle grazing, and teach us more about the rhythms of care and animal companionship. For now, she’s soaking up love from everyone and growing stronger each day.

🐱 Our Sweet New Kitten Ilikea

This tiny fluffball came into our lives unexpectedly — as many wonderful things do. With bright eyes and boundless energy, he’s already begun chasing Nala in the tall grass and curling up in the warmest pockets of sun he can find. 🌸 Reflecting on New Life

New life on the farm always reminds us to slow down, to notice, and to appreciate the cycles of nature. As the trees stretch taller and the days warm with summer sun, we are filled with hope — for growth, for learning, and for joy.

Nala and our kitten have brought a playful spark to the farm, and we’re so grateful to witness their first steps here. Life on the land teaches us that beginnings often come quietly, but they carry great beauty.
